I had low fuel pressure …I checked spark because of sputtering … all my spark plugs look black and burnt up ..so decided to go ahead and change plugs and upgrade coil

well reconfigured pump to push more than pull . Now I have 0psi . Think pump already messed up . Bought a mechanical pump to put back in but my rod is stuck ….calling it a day

Hate when my rod get’s stuck.

Paramedic or family doctor ?

Rod is stuck? The rod that rides cam lobe and operates mech pump? If so, that would explain low fuel press.

Curious, have any info on the fuel pump such as spec, name, part number? That doesn't look like what I would consider enough to feed the BBC?
