Pull off lake and repair in spring! Meant that for my assault…. Oh now I’m in no hurry 😂😂. Just kidding I just dropped off at my neighbors who was a machinist / welder his whole life. I just wasn’t I’d get a good ground etc. I bet he uses the nut method. I didn’t say anything other than see if he could get them out. See what he does.

we ripped 100 miles in your neck of woods yesterday, was mediocre in beginning, dirt to snirt down middle after a while. Now you got until the next snow as its about unridable now
look hard at rear tube on back side, if it has spiral lines, the bushings gone and clutch is junk. It will continue to break rollers and helix bolts if so.

EDM is the way to go if there is somebody local to you that has one. One of my friends at another machine shop has one and it is the only way to go. Anything more than 1 bolt in an aluminum head and I send it to him.

I understand how edm works,it burns a hole thru the bolt, then what, your still stuck trying to extract the bolt.what am I missing?

If done properly it only leaves the part of the bolt that is in the threads and it comes out in pieces with a pick.
