Question X Dimension Fountain 29 sportfish

I know beating a dead horse.
I repowered my 29 Sportfish single step last season and have been testing props, Been in conversation with B Blades, and Hydromotive on the repower. Went with Hydro due to they are the original prop of the Fountain line as I have read. Recommended a 26p 4 blade LH as to boat listed on plane, was way to high, bad on plane n low rpm. Went to a 22P was better but still low rpm, Current 19p Rev.4 not bad all around but still lists, stern seems deep on plane.
As to the repower I took out the 7.4l mpi and built a stroked 454 at 500/500 Carb. Stewing on the downfall of props, now at the conclusion that the carb set up, removing the mpi and manifolds n risers to stainless marine 4''. Thinking I have reduced LBS and the X dimension needs to be lower? When getting on plane I can tell the engine sound ramps as like the prop is about to blow out but still sounds like its lugging.
Drive @ 0 Tabs all way down but don't need to be have done at 3.
WOT trim to 2-3 if more lose mph. tabs @ "0" 5100 rpm at 51mph.
Also freshwater Lake Erie..
Wake is very large as like drive is pushing it down. And using ALOT of fuel
Thinking of putting a drive spacer in ?? Any thoughts or just wasting time and alot of fuel, lol
