One was 1075's the rest were 700's and I think 2 600's. So mostly merc. Some had the stage 3 or 4 whipple upgrades.
I do know a 700 with the stage 4 has heat problems. It was a very hot humid day that day also.

Not sure what a long pull is but one off the legs in the Cig event @ LOTO is 27mls we run around 80 ( water permitting ) last yr is was hot engines were cool, I guess it all depends on the set up

It was in the 90's that day. We had legs that length also.
we consistantly were running 100 to 105 that day, right around 5900 rpm.

So the million dollar question is, if I whipple these can I still do 10 minute pulls at 115 mph, or am I going to run into problems.

I love it. Awesome job and I know it’s easy for me to say however I vote leave it alone and just be happy with the fuel capability to deliver. You’ve got it so dialed in and trouble free it seems. Enjoy all the dedication and hard work you put into it 😉!!!

btw by the length of the vids and speed maintained throughout - I’d assume your dropping the hammers for several miles. 30 plus No?

what oil and water temps are you currently seeing on a hard run......you wont run those kind of speeds weekend main channel on loto.............:D

The engines really like the 5900 6000 rpm zone, they will pull up to 6300. It will definitely remain the same this summer.

we run a cross over system with no thermostat so we never see over 105 on water. Oil is thermostat controlled we use both plate coolers in the bell housing for oil. It will go to 245 then settle in at 220. We also run spring oilers and piston oilers.

Im seeing around 205-210 oil temps and 140 water, also running a X over no t-stat, I need to do some restricting on the inter-cooler dumps to raise my block water pressure, and -6 dumps on both sides of the rear of the intake
