Default Houston-SA-Aus area engine shop?

Gents i have bought a beautiful old classic 93 Formula 336 with Teague engines and XR drives. I live about a 100 miles from Houston San Antonio Austin and would like to get your recomendations for an engine shop that you would trust to maintain your way too expensive engines and drives. Thanks in advance.

I've used Victory south of Houston for Drive rebuilds but it has been several years.

They are teagues. waiting on prev owner to find his paperwork. In the 600-650 HP range. Normally aspirated.

Kinda sounds like the 509 CI 620 HP engines Bob did several years back, If I remember correctly, Merlin heads-and single plane intake-2 1 inch spacers and 1050 dominator carb. His version of the Crane "741" cam etc.

i think you are real close. The engines were installed in 2014 or 15. A merlin 2 block, original head have been replaced with Brodix heads. Prev owner did not install engines and drives but thought the original teague configuration was 620 HP.

If it's all of Bob's stuff I would let Stacy do it. He goes to a school Bob puts on once or twice a year and works closely with Teague. I know he maintains a Shockwave with a Teague 1200. His shop is close to Tyler, also it's out of his garage so don't freak out when you drive up.

There is also Machine Head out of Austin but he is VERY PARTICULAR about jobs he takes.

Victory can do the drives but he sends off all his motor work, I spoke with him about that last year.
