I purchased the $300 MSD wires about 3 years ago (since sold the boat). At the time you could order Volvo Marine wires for a 496 at NAPA for around $150. I know that a GM wire set for a 496 truck engine will not fit the marine engine. They are too short to go over the larger marine exhaust manifolds.

I just purchased (2) sets of the Scott Wires. Very good quality and the price is great.
