My boat does not tolerate much of any drive trim up. Once planed out and cruising under light loadI would normally trim up to get the boat up on the water, but the boat will start to porpoise. I can stop the porpoise by going faster but I gave to go like hell to get out of it. Even at WOT it will only tolerate mininmal trim.
I have tried several different props ( generally stern lifting),some help but none give much use of trim. Do I need to change drive height?

Being 5 inches below the bottom, the boat should respond well to trim. I would try a Bravo 1 prop.
The other thing you could try is adding some weight in the front of the bow. Start with 50 lbs and see if there is a difference.
