Default 700sci intermittent no boost

First day out of the season yesterday and when I initially tried to get on plane the engine would sputter, have no power and no boost, idle sounds a but off as well. After idling around for a while the engine all of a sudden sounded better and had full power and boost. We spent the day out, everything was fine until the end of the day when I came off plane the engine sputtered, I tried to get back on plane and again, no power no boost. I did notice some water on top of the boost control valve and I am wondering if this has anything to do with it. Also there are no fault codes. Any ideas???

The blower snout is a common issue in the 700sci, they shear off internally.

If the blower snout was broken i would assume that i would never get boost, I limped the boat for about an hour yesterday, running like crap at idle. Shut it off for about an hour, started it, sounded good, gave it some throttle and it ran like normal, coming off a plane started to sputter, and fell on its face again. I went through my fuel system last night to check for any blockages or debris, did not find anything.
