What do I need????
Accelerator pump on 4500 carb hitting throttle plate. What do I need. I have 1150’s and we’re fine with blown 1050 carbs. I don’t get it.

What exactly are they hitting ? Can you take a picture showing the interference point ?
|
I assume you mean the throttle cable bracket is hitting the accelerator pump?
Can you put the bracket in a vise and bend it slightly?? If not you might need the bracket plate style that goes between the carb and manifold. |

Certainly in that location, what appears to be the top of the bellhousing, oil temp and pressure sender wires would make sense. Ultimately you'd have to find the other end at the helm and see if you have continuity with a multimeter or test light. |

Like I’m only getting about an 1/8 throttle. That just dawned on me regarding the style of plate under carb type. I actually have some here but for 4150 platform. Just strange the engines that were in had 1050 Dom’s. Regardless what I’ll have to get Tks |

Oil temp by convention is a blue wire with brown stripe on it. Doesn't mean that's automatically what you're going to find in your boat.

Take pics of both carbs where acc pump arms are. I can’t zoom in and see on yours Could be different arms snd or different cc pumps w/different arms. Body if carb coukd be slightly different too.
It’s s tight squeeze for brackets right there for all 4150/4160 and 4500 carbs because iff acc pump and linkage. Wouldn’t take much to hit. |

Here’s one pic. Regardless this is a small issue. Just glad these fkers are in and rigged. More work than I remember however made a lot of other changes btwn the crank drive pumps and the custom bracket plates for the t-stat oil coolers. Fk almost had myself in a position I couldn’t get out of down in the bilge upside down on my head twisted like a spaghetti noddle. Actually a little sore today. 😂. My engines also have rear mount offshore mounts that bolt btwn the bell and trans. Not a fun time getting those nuts and bolts in with header on. Regardless I’m down to the little stuff. Tk God!!! Had them both in approx 4hrs + - https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...58cf0140c.jpeg I ordered some different carb throttle plates today. Had a brain fart yesterday not thinking of the under carb mount ones but still threw me off why they worked on 1050’s and not 1150’s. |

the trans fill tubes are bolted to my cooler bracket now. |
On transmission for trs boat you will have a temp. Alarm switch and neutral safety switch. Don't remember colors
