Default 12 meter stbd side seat not working.

Stuck in down position and switch rocks back and forth but nothing. Any ideas what to check?

I assume it is the hydraulic seat?? Probably just need to clean the terminals on the pump.

I’ll get up in there with a test light today. Pulled the rocker switch out and all looked fine but need to make sure I’ve got power there. The seat pumps are under rear seat and that looked fine also. Wires etc. I did tap on the pump but no such luck.

Do they have a solenoid to switch the pump direction?

no they don’t. Just two wires coming out of the top.

I had a trim pump that would not do anything, Make a noise or want to move. The brushes were corroded so bad that there was no contact and and they did not move freely. Damn saltwater boat! I took the brush cover off and cleaned has worked for the last 20yrs.
