Chevy 5.3 LS injectors
Does anyone one make an injector for a 2000 chevy truck 5.3 LS with the EV1 connector
TIA Speedy |
I've used LS1 length injectors many times with a simple fuel rail spacer.
Another option that I've personally used is short LS3 injectors with an injector spacer. |

A LS3 injector will have a EV-6 connector, not a mini timer/ev-1 so wont solve your dillema completely so uoud need: ls-3 injectors (uscar/ev-6 connector), spacers then adapters for your harness, at least they DO sell a wireless adapter though.spacing the rail up and using ls-1 injectors with ev-1 connectors or really ANY "normal" full size injector with ev-1 connector as the are same length as ls-1 would open up your options, Smitty

Yea sorry, Artic is correct, I meant any shorter injector (like an LS3 height) that has the correct EV1 plug if you can find any.
The injector spacers seem kinda hokey, but they've not been a problem with the Bosch 210s on my 940 rwhp turbo deal. If you're leaving it N/A, and you're using a stock truck intake, the fastest, cheapest, and easiest route is to buy a set of LS1/LS6 EV1 injectors and space the fuel rail up with spacers and longer bolts. Here's a kit from summit. https://www.summitracing.com/parts/i...RoCc-AQAvD_BwE Also, here is a good resource regarding LSx injector lengths and connectors. https://www.ictbillet.com/swap-guide...wap-guide.html |
Im going with the LS1 injectors and spacing the rail up, thanks for the input....:ernaehrung004:
