Default Kiekhaefer trim pump

I have some leaking hoses so going to swap them out. Leaking right at the 90* fitting.

This pump has the fill / dipstick on the front side of the pump. Question, is there an easy way to drain the reservoir so I can put fresh fluid back in? Looks like they used ATF. From what over read people use Dexron 2. The pump says 10W30 but I’d hate to mix it in with ATF when if I were able to get most of it out.

When you disconnect a hose, just hit the tab switch and it should pump out most of the fluid. You can use oil or Trans fluid in them. I would use whatever is in currently in them.
