Default 500 efi hydraulic steering question

So I'm converting my pulley setup to a 500 efi serpentine setup and have a question about the power steering pump. I am going to run the 500 efi pump that has the little plastic reservoir. I currently have the standard pump with the metal reservoir on the pump and I added the IMCO cap with extra latham reservoir...I will attach a pic. My question is can I just delete the little plastic reservoir on the 500 efi pump and run my external latham reservoir or does someone make a cap to go on the plastic reservoir similar to what I have to go to the latham reservoir? Hope all this makes sense hahaha thanks!

You can see what I'm talking about on the right hand side of the engine.
