Here is one we have made in the past. We lend it out with our NEXT transmission kit.
I'll see if I can find the drawing. https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...4bff030de2.jpg |

I would have to make one up. What's your timing? We are closed until after New Year.

I can't find the drawing for the disc. Just measure the ID of the bell housing. Also I can't remember what that 5" long section of the tool is for. I don't think it has to be there.
Hopefully you can find someone to make the tool for you quickly. Mercury doesn't really have a tool for the M6/NXT so the instructions are out of an old shop manual (which is where I got the idea in the first place) |

If his cad drawing is correct to scale it looks like 2" OD

this is the one I bought for 6’s |
I'm pretty sure that part of the drawing is a mistake. I will verify when I get to the shop later in the week.. When I made that Mercury didn't have a tool.
That Mercury part number looks like it will do the job. There are 6 pieces at the factory. I'm sure it's less expensive to buy that one. We are closed until Jan 3 so you can get it faster from another dealer. |
