Bravo XR

Is Bravo one XR seacore for diesel motors ?

Unlimited jd 02-08-2023 03:27 PM

Sea core is just a different coating on the drive for harsh salt water environments. On the transom assemblies a few parts are replaced with stainless steel. At least this is what I was told

Same internals as regular Merc drives

The top cap on the Seacore does not appear to be finned like an XR, but the propshaft does look like the correct size for an XR.

Performance wise there the same ? Or not

techman 02-11-2023 09:41 AM

Yes, same drive, different coating. To be honest why don't they just put that fancy coating on all their drives?

techman 02-11-2023 11:22 AM
