Mounting power steering pump.

Id like to get rid of the old school GM powersteering pump and replace with something like this

Besides a $300 CP mount , are there any alternative mounts ?

Pressure is pressure, so long as the unit supplies the needed HY pressure and the control valve (ram) does what is required then who cares

What about an electric pump? Put it anywhere you want.

I think you could make your own mount,,looks like a flat piece of aluminum.

A lot of people are using factory car pumps. You just need a controller to make sure they put out the right pressure. There is a company that sells the controllers now.

You have one electric pump for 2 drives?

From CP :Here is what Imco had to say about using the 421-32 with #6 drive. It certainly will, but max helm control size is 80cc/pump which would be 6.5 turns lock to lock with a single M6 and 1 pump. I'll attach a 2 pump option.
