The topic was brought up several times many moons ago and it questioned chrome oil coolers snd also direction. Separately from each other.
I think it also got into the Drew Marine outdrive lube coolers.
Any, think it was 10*f or so for each, if everything was working as designed. (Drew marine outdrive cooler 30f-40f ???? cooler )
But, I can’t remember peoples names nor family birthdays. So, there’s that.

Good topic to know right? I spent a few hours calling around because I was curious.
What I did find was very interesting on MOTORTREND's web site. In parts it says engine oil should be 220° f to burn off deposits and accumulated water vapor. Said that race engines run best with high temp engine oil with cold cooling water makes the best power.

Replaced with new Wix filter and resolved any/all issues.
