I do not use any Ethanol fuel. Hardin did not suggest an oil. I was considering Harley gear oil, but will probably just use Merc and run it a little low. Took a break from it yesterday. Needed a day off.

Welp as you can see those businesses making a profit are of no help. All the fuel pumps are junk and will leak, that's why my next move is to replace with a electric pump for lift.

Well, found out the shop put synthetic gear oil in my pumps. Not a problem, just need to lower the level a tad. Today's test will tell the tale.

Lowered the level where it was only about and ounce+ in there, still would climb the vent tube and return to the housing. Changed out synthetic lube for Merc HP drive oil, made it worse even at idle. Fluid goes up the tube and then returns to the housing. Just going to live with it for this season and figure it out over the Winter. I appreciate all the input and ideas. If you have a solution, throw it up here.
