https://www.westmarine.com/perko-flu...xoCzkYQAvD_BwE
I have an old fresh water flush kit on my mercruiser 502 in my 96 Baja 252. I just got the fresh 509 fired yesterday and when testing it on the kit I saw it started leaking. does anyone know the intake hose size to the sea pump? I think its 1.25" but I want to order the kit today and I forgot to measure the hose Dia. |
It is 1-1/4"

I heard mixed reviews about that perko flush device, but haven't heard anything negative about the Eddie marine kit yet:

I also remember some having issues with the Perko flush kit, and there have been threads here on OSO such as: https://www.offshoreonly.com/forums/...flush-pro.html
But I also believe I have read at some point that Perko has made improvements, but not sure if that is true. |
I got rid of my Perko's after reading of failures and went with brass 3 way valves inline between the transom and raw water pump. Kept the Perko hose hook up and hose to the flush valve.
