1023HP seems more accurate . |

Just a thought, some of your BSFC could be the HP it takes to spin the Blower, which would increase as you turn up the boost.

so your seeing 12.0 at wot in hard boost ?
I like lower 11`s myself but you ever see a 1075 on the dyno... 12.4afrs up top Also my buddy been runing this map with low timing on a 43 Nortech with 5.0l Whipple without issues .. that would scare the crap out of me but it works for him and he does not drive it easy.:readinghelp: https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...791a15f4e8.jpg |

Preliminary results are in........
843/755 with shop carb and no vacuum pump 836 with my older style Dominator and no vacuum pump 849 with my older style Dominator and WITH a vacuum pump They have a Gen 3 Marine Ultra Dominator being thrown on today to see how that'll do as its supposedly better than their shop carb... Hoping this might push 850 w/o the VP. Tho, I am likely to get a VP since of the added oiling benefits (no leaks, reduce crankcase pressure) besides just the HP. Im stoked with the #s I've gotten so far tho! Right above the area I wanted and was thinking she'd land! Below is a pic of my older Dominator, am I correct in assuming a Gen 3 would be a big improvement with the radiused edges for flow and another other improvements they made? https://www.yellowbullet.com/attachm...b4651e39a5f308 |
Dyno headers I assume? What was your correction factor?
|
It's really hard to make that kind of N/A marine power.
Even harder to make it reliable for 100-200hrs in offshore poker run conditions. Almost impossible to make the boat run comparable to similar forced induction power. Especially with a build on this budget. Still badass and I hope you have fun, and guess the time to freshen them before they break. Thanks for sharing. |
Was this full acessories and dry dyno headers or wet headers? Also ask previously asked, what was the correction factor?
