Man that sucks. I have never tried to get mine through because it appears the same issue and impossible to get to anyways.
That's why I do the NPT to push lock adapter to the extractor tubing.

I'd highly suggest for you to try it depending on what type extractor you get or have over dealing with that every time.
Come to think of it I run 15-50 Mobil 1 and don't ever remember warming it up to do changes and it draws out just fine.

Did another pair today. I definitely would say 1/4 npt.

And yeh, mobil 15w-50 syn draws much faster than conv 20w-50 when cold. No comparison.

That’s all good news cuz I ordered some fittings yesterday and will get them Wednesday. Joywayus 3/4" GHT Male x 1/4" NPT Male Brass Pipe Fittings Hex Nipple Adapter (Pack of 2) which should work with my new oil sucker on the bucket arriving from West Marine: https://www.westmarine.com/west-marine-professional-12v-oil-changer-bucket-14557425.html which is on sale currently.

…EDGE INDUSTRIAL 1/2" Hose ID to 1/4" Male NPT MNPT Straight Brass Fitting Fuel/AIR/Water/Oil/Gas/WOG

this would be the most direct and efficient fitting from suction hose end to the oil pan drain hose’s end fitting. Less than $7 to my door. Hopefully & finally I can get all the oil out quickly.
