These 781 i have has fresh mint condition bronze quide liners, so installing seat inserts for the exhaust would not broke the Bank, but in other hand i can get 290cc flotek ovals 1500$ pair and go from there. Wonder what kind of power those floteks would make with my cam and what rpm? Quess some where in 5600rpm, that might be over the limit of the gm dogbone hyd lifter.
I normally don't like powdered metal parts. Like the new S&W powder metal hammer etc. But the tech in the powdered seats is really great. The powdering and pressing + baking enables alloys that normally would not mix. They are softer to start, and work harden in use. The 290s flew really well.
