Details... 1992 27' Fountain, 565, twin 1000 cfm, tunnel ram, Haltec EFI, Valako ported heads, RV cam, 10.5:1, Stellings ext box, standard length bravo, labbed 28 bravo, 6400RPM, 98.6 mph. And a handful from 70-80mph.
With 650 you should be at least seeing 80.

What elevation ?
Do you use the trim button ?
Remember to unhook from the trailer ?

Let us know dyno report along with dyno conditions. That will be a good start.

HAHAHA , yes im able too drive a boat . I had about 7 boat before this boat . I drive the 38fever of my brother and it realy easy to drive. But my 27 fever it much hard to drive … 3/4 throtel to go on step … and after it hard to place … drive trim about 4-5 on the indicator …

Yess the first step it to make sure the engine are in great shape and whats is the HP and the rpm .

Yes 1.50.
The drive shaft angle was not bad. He had a short lower on at one time but loss speed. His 27' did not like a high X.

every boat different but just trim it up until you feel the hull free up and monitor the speed and rpm. Are your indicators working? If not go by feel it’s what I do half the time anyway.

Also where are your Tim tabs at? Send those babies up and down when needed only. They could certainly be scrubbing speed if there downward.

yes me indicator works . Y run at 4-5 and a bit down trim table .. y feel the boat plane good on the water but when y it full throtel y feel the boat run load .

so i drive the boat about 5-6 time this summer …
I make more test in summer 2024…

thanks evryone for the helps i give you some news wen the engine go back from the dyno .

if a 850cfm is too smal for a 540 ? If y buy a 1050dominator can a feel a real difference?

Your engine build/specs will help determine carb size but if it’s a 540 I would think a 2 circuit 1050 would be a better option but in reality you can make almost any carb work with some work. The real kicker is are you certain you have a stroker 540? Any machine or speed shop can determine that for you. I’m not trying to insinuate anything just being honest. You’ll get it worked out as long as you use a reputable shop in your location. Good luck and keep us posted.
