I newly rebuilt my 700sci's.
When i went to fire up one of them for the first time, it is idling rough and black smoke.
Fuel pressure is 61psi and no codes thrown on the computer.
Checked coils all ok. Injectors all cleaned and tested . were fine.
Swapped sensors with my other engine which is working fine and problem still exists.
Please do let me know what im doing wrong or where I should look.
Thanks

I'm about as far from an expert as one could get but, from my experience, I'd be looking at the injectors. You all the telltale signs of a stuck injector or three.
Thanks. Brad.

Id say scan it and look at map sensor reading, Im sure your fueling doubles from 60 to 100 map, if its unplugged OR not seeing intake vacuum, it will think your at hard throttle when your idling and double the fuel fwiw, Smitty

I've seen on FI cars if the coolant temp sender or it's wiring is bad (open circuit) the computer interprets that as -55 degs F and makes mixture very rich. No codes either. Need to see what the computer thinks the sensors are reading and look for obviously bad data.
