In my opinion, the BBC valvetrain geometry is decent - only a 4° cant angle, the exhaust lifter bores are angled 6.25° from the intakes to account for the different valve angles. Not too bad.

I don't think the RB engines had this situation.
The BBC has much better lifter bore angles in comparison!
