Default MERCURY565 RACING OPTION CC vs DL

Does anyone know what the difference is between CC vs DL option on 565 stern drive package .
The CC is listed @ $1800 more than DL.
It shows up on the website for Performance Marine Trading.
I have tried contacting them but have not heard back from them.
Tried the factory but they do not know .

CC = Close couple. DL = Drive line.

Thanks for the explanation.
Merc should hire you for customer service.
Two different departments at Merc were very polite but did not know the answer.

Drive line package does not include exhaust, Does include components to forward mount the the engine.

CC (close coupled) is your customary engine connected directly to the drive. Exhaust is included.
