Default Injector Cleaning Services

Hello all,
I'm relatively new here but been lurking for a while.
I have a new-to-me Mercruiser 496 MAG that I'm doing good once-over on and it had the dreaded cool fuel 3 module which I've since taken care of, but I'm wondering if while I have the engine out and on the stand if I should have the injectors cleaned as a precaution. The paint in the cool fuel module was actually not delaminated yet so I don't know that any ended up in the injectors, but I'm still thinking it might not be a bad idea.

Do any of you have a recommendation for a shop that does injector cleaning and flow testing? South Central PA would be a plus to save on shipping, but not a deal breaker and probably not realistic to be honest so I'm good with shipping if needed.

Injector Repair out of Glenville, NY is another option if Steve can't get to you.

Steve has done 2 sets for me over the years. For injectors that flow on the upper or lower end of normal, he will recommend what cylinder to use them on. Honestly, my 502 MPI has never ran smoother. Good regular dude that seems to enjoy what he does.

Dan,

I like his spark plug wires. Otherwise....

I called Mosetti about the potential of selling some 496 fuel rails through him. All he did was torch the idea, claiming I'd never get the engine to run right due to a lack of a "harmonic buffer" . So far, literally EVERYBODY I've relayed that to has told me the same thing: he's full of sh!t. I mean, where's the buffer on any other custom fuel rail assembly, right...?

Thanks. Brad.

AShipShow,

This..... Steve gave me a brand new boat by reviving a set of seriously clogged injectors.

Thanks. Brad.
