Agreed. I make sure they’re lubricated. Could be the occasional bad apple in the bushel, too.

Zinger,

This is a really good investment. It’s likely a lifetime supply. A little on both ID and OD threads, and a light smear across the sealing surfaces.

Thanks. Brad.

They are not the same quality, I didn`t come up with that out of thin air , I have experience with hundreds of AN fittings thruout the years) and a good bit less expensive(Ever hear the term 'you get what you pay for?') than those I bought from Summit. We'll see how they do.

Thanks. Brad.
Not sure why you have to argue and dismiss every one of my posts, it`s starting to piss me off.
How many fittings have you installed over the last 12 years ????

That grease sucks , use WD-40. I used it one time and it seemed much better .

Thanks. Brad

Dan,

Not sure why you’re taking my comments as arguing or dismissing. No need to get miffed. I agree with the vast majority of what you say. And I agree with your comment about cheap Chinese crap. I don’t think the Evil Energy stuff is in that category. They are actually fairly high quality. At the end of the day, I did, in fact, end my comment with “We’ll see”. If I find they are not working out well, I’ll report back as such.

All good.

Thanks. Brad.

I have been using them for 10+ years. I'll take a few off the oil and fuel side and inspect them before this summer.
Thanks
