Thank you for you all that have comment to this topic.

Yesterday we unplugged 3 of 6 Whipple fuel injectors. We did idle engine with 3 injectors and the idling was really nice. Engine also did respond throttle nice from idle to about 2000 rpm.

After that we plugged all 6 injectors back to use and again engine idle very very rich and rough

Mankka,

However.... Have you double checked that you have the right injectors? They guys at Whipple are very knowledgeable, but they ARE human. There is a very real possibility someone may have picked the wrong box out of inventory and dropped it into your kit. Just a thought.

Thanks. Brad.

Thanks for idea. I haven’t. Injectors was already installed to kit by Whipple. I did not check them before installing supercharger kit to my boat. Now it is hard to take injectors off from the kit without pulling whole supercharger out of the engine. But I will try to take at least one injector off and check it.

Mankka,

Full disclosure... I have no prior experience with Whipples. I was simply commenting on the possibility of human error and did not realize the injectors come preinstalled. I would suggest maybe trying to get a number off the injector and verifying a match before committing to any disassembly.

How much wiring/pinout work has to be done with these kits? Or do these kits come with entirely new harnesses? If you had to do some rewiring.... You're human, too. It certainly sounds like an injector issue. I wouldn't expect any issues with the tune reflash, as I'm sure it was a proven, drag-drop file they loaded onto your ECM. I'm just spitballing potential root causes.

Thanks. Brad.

I just taked closer look about injectors. Impossible to see them. Impossible even take a photo of them when kit is installed to motor.

Actually there was quite a lot wiring job. Had to install Whipple wiring harness to Mercruiser original wiring harness. We have checked our wirings but have to double check wiring signals to injectors again.

I have contacted Whipple. First they said that drop fuel pressure. It is not possible with cool fuel systems original fuel pressure regulator.

Today Whipple was quessing that I have wiring issue to the injectors. We have checked wiring but we will double check. Whipple was also quessing that could be also PCM failure.

It is not easy at all to trouble shoot this issue.
Yes I am not from USA so that make things even harder to solve for me.

One more question, did Whipple send you a new PCM in the kit or did they reflash your original one ?.......I dont see that 41 lbs of fuel pressure in an issue..where are you located
