I think I know the answer, but is there any way to add switchable captains call style exhaust to the SSM inner transom plates? I know the TRS style have block off plates for a y-pipe (although I've never seen a trs y pipe) but I don't see anything on the #3,4,5 style inner plates. Are switchable mufflers my only option? Any other creative solutions to dump the exhaust under water? I really can't bring myself to install turndowns just because of how they look.

It seems like the TCM switchable muffler tips might be my best option. I've read mixed reviews on their effectiveness, any real world decibel reduction numbers? This would be a N/A 500ish HP 454 so no crazy cam.

I have two pair of 4.5 cmi switchable mufflers . With the air pump. They need 2 cylinders and good cleaning and polishing . 400 plus ride .
