I like to see confirmed reasoning why a company would not recommend a certain oil. Maybe they did.

Roller lifters on a roller lobe have tangential contact. Meaning very low surface area. High spring rates, with slippery oil that has the film strength taper off as the load increases, would be a bad day out.

The best COA, get a good coventional oil like VR1, and run it for 40-50 hrs, then get a sample on it. See how it's doing. Run it a bit more if gtg. Get a rythm down. Inspect oil filters.
