How about inserting a Y inline between the transom pipe and power steering cooler (first thing the intake water cools) and adding the pickup line there? Would I still need a pressure relief line?
My thought is that would still allow flow through outdrive, and potentially reverse flow as a pressure relief if pickup provides too much pressure. https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...8fd449687.jpeg |

Well, engine still overheating. Power steering system puking ATF. Also an inch of water in the boat. Not sure where it’s coming from. Power steering cooler doesn’t appear to be leaking ATF or water. No residual drips or anything wet below it. ATF seems to be leaking at a joint in the actuator (newly installed Chinese model). ATF fluid below the actuator. Hydraulic line fittings are clean and dry.

No sign of atf or water leakage on ps cooler atf lines or water hoses.
