That little activity in Iran is having an effect on any petrochemical product.

That's cute.

The brake fluid we have to run the road race cars is $76-98/quart.

no one cares. You are on a boat forum

Thanks Mbam. I know I can order it, was just wondering why no brick and mortar stores seem to be stocking it any more?

I like to walk into a store and leave with what I need that day.

Too many times I've had to deal with lost/stolen packages, damaged items, entirely wrong one sent, or having to pay shipping to send something back. All can easily be avoided by driving to the store.

So many better oils out there. I wouldn`t run that stuff if it was free.

HP Mafia swears by this and I`ve started running it too .

Very little chance of a store nearby with that.

What is going on with the lack of Merc racing 85-90 gear lube? Or the same product under the Quicksilver label 85-90 extreme?

Yes, you can still order it at some places, but it's very limited in availability. Unlike the High Performance 90. That stuff is everywhere.

Cannot get it at West Marine. https://www.westmarine.com/search?q=...s_retail=99999

Very limited on Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/s?k=quicksilv...f=nb_sb_noss_2

Haven't been able to walk into a store and walk out with it. Have to order it.

Is the 85-90 what everyone is still running as far as Merc gear lube in their Bravos?

Menards carries the Quicksilver brand gear lube.

I buy all my quarts of SAE 90 from menards, never seen 85-90 there though. Menards is like $15 for a quarts of SAE 90 vs $20+ everywhere else

Quicksilver extreme performance (amber) 85w90 I see online in several places for $90/gal, doesn't seem outrageous
