Default Merc Racing 85-90 gear lube lack of availability

What is going on with the lack of Merc racing 85-90 gear lube? Or the same product under the Quicksilver label 85-90 extreme?

Yes, you can still order it at some places, but it's very limited in availability. Unlike the High Performance 90. That stuff is everywhere.

Cannot get it at West Marine. https://www.westmarine.com/search?q=...s_retail=99999

Very limited on Amazon.
Amazon Amazon

Haven't been able to walk into a store and walk out with it. Have to order it.

Is the 85-90 what everyone is still running as far as Merc gear lube in their Bravos?

So many better oils out there. I wouldn`t run that stuff if it was free.

HP Mafia swears by this and I`ve started running it too .

I’m not saying neo oil is the best…but we ran it. Could easily get 50-75 hours out of it. Was half the price and looked brand new when we drained it out.

FYI: You can get the Extreme in 1 gallon jugs usually a little cheaper per quart than quart jugs. Do a internet search for Quicksilver 92-8M0111679 . And if kinda savy, you can find places that have free shipping over a certain amt of $$$.

I have been running their oil in my motors for years.

Complaining about lube by the quart prices...
That's cute.

The brake fluid we have to run the road race cars is $76-98/quart.
