I am in need of a piece of 41/2" stainless tubing approx 6 to 7" long.
I figured I would check and see if anyone happened to have a scrap peice laying around. I would be glad to pay a little something for it.

i know i have aa couple hunks of 4" OD stainless tube. I madea pair of non jacketed exhuast pipes thet didn't exactly work. (they got me ruggin for afew hours at least) They have since stained (aka sat in the back of my truck as the extra pieces are kind of usless. If 4"OD will work let me know.
If you need 4 1/2 i've bought stuff from online metals and theya re very helpful and will gladly answer any question and for some stuff can special order small quantities for reasonable prices

Thanks for the tip for online metals!
I do need 41/2" OD to do the job.
I am lengthening the inner 4" tube after the collector in my restricted flow Lightning headers.
I have switched to 41/2" tips. What I need is two, 2"long pieces of 41/2" OD SS tube to weld onto the outside of the jacketed collector for the 41/2" exhaust hose to secure to.
I will end up lengthening the inner by 6", should be enough along with running external flaps on the 41/2" tips instead of internal flaps on the 4"tips, to solve the reversion problem.
I was able to buy some 4" ss tubing from Stainless Marine for the inners, I'm sure I could get some 41/2" from them as well. I'll have to buy at least a foot though! I was just hoping some one had a small piece laying around!
