satin vs. polished finish

testing can be done later,as it is still winter,but we use a spiral sewed loose buff 18"wheel turning 1,750 rpm using a formax product called p-b80 satin glo this produces a great brushed look finish,polishing takes alot more work and sure looks great I have noticed Mercury labbed props are all satin unless other wise specfied. we have been high polishing all of are lab jobs but this is soon to change,BUT THIS WILL ALSO KEEP THE PRICE DOWN AND THE SPEED UP,If the test results come out like I think they will.

I would be interested in conducting this test as well. But, I can't get to the water until early May. I have a '99 259 Convincor. I was also tossing around the idea of re-propping. I am currently running a 24" Bravo 4 blade. I spin it to 5000 r.p.m. I was thinking of a labbed 26" Bravo as a possible alternative.
