Question Mark IV crank in Gen V block? Possible??

I believe I read somewhere that a Mark IV crank can be used ib a Gen V block thru use of an adapter??? Is this true? If so, where/what is a source & part # of the adapter?????

Also, looking for a std bore Mark IV or Gen V engine (either-, crank used) or block , crank, pan, heads (if gen V) .

This setup is what I have. My engine builder ordered it when he assembled short block. It is 2 pieces of alum. that go where the rear main seal is. New block wants a 1 piece rear seal where crank is for 2 piece seal. Have had for 3 years now & no oil leak thru rear main seal. If you need I can call & see where he got it.

If you do not have a block, then you want to find a gen 6 not a gen 5 block.
