MikeHTMSR24:

I'll have to double check on that.

I'm running a 28 Bravo 1.

Is it a Imco Extreme or a Imco Extreme SC big difference
not much if any between an XR and a Imco extreme

what blade are you swingin

Don't they call one a 4x4 and it has 4 gears in top instead of 3? I guess the 4x4 is like 25 or 30 thousand instead of 8 or 9 thousand,Smitty

Just had one of my Extreme SC's let go at 20 hrs and I don't even beat on the boat :( , motors have 720 hp and 760 ft. lbs., I hope they will work with me to resolve the problem.

I just broke the lower gears today in my Imco SC. 680 hp 662 torque. I do beat it up, but I know how to drive. I back off while airborne, easy out of the hole. I had about 20 hours as well. These drives are not all they are cracked up to be.

At your power level I'd be inclined to think Imco didn't set it up properly or the gears were flawed for a set of lower xr style gears to go at 20 hours,Smitty

Anyone know what the warranty and cost of the B-max is?? Can a B-Max upper be bolted to an IMCO SC lower?

I can't keep blowing up drives and paying $6g's everytime without a warranty.

Hello IMCO,

I was wondering if your R & D section would perform an analysis of said failure to determine if product related or customer abuse related? :D
I would think that this could create an added database for your future research in constant product improvement

Or is it always assumed (of course with facts) customer abuse when dealing with this specific type of h.p. aftermarket product?

Thank you

I would be up for that,,,,,cause I know I don't abuse, so I'd like to see what the outcome would be.

I also have pictures but have choosen not post them for personal reasons and don't have a hidden agenda to bash any companies or their products.

Post them. You would think if they didn't warranty the drive they would at least sell you a replacement at COST in order to keep one of their customers happy. Although that would probably kill their business model, making money selling replacements.
