I have a standard 454 mag with std exhaust and merc silent choice stuff.
I am putting in Merc 500hps with the gill manifolds (circa 1995)
I would like to run through the silent choice for a season then upgrade to CMIs next year
After the motors new interior and hydraulic steering budget is tight for new wxhaust

You can use the stock silent choice stuff if you have the Gil magnum choice pipes. They are short enough although you still may have to cut off an inch or 2 from the silent choice diverters where they attach to the gil elbows.

All the Mercruiser/ Gil's that I
have seen, that have silent choice
type of setups use Corsa diverters,
I have never seen Mercruiser/Gil
risers short enough to allow the
use of the merc. silent choice diverter.
