Wow, that sucks! Very inappropriate to say the least. It's too bad because like I said, I have 2 502s and am happy with them. I feel bad now about giving them a good recommendation.

There are plenty of options available to you out there. It may take some more time and research to find what is best for you.

I bought a 1800 runs new motor has less power than the other merc 502, I called and they told me it is the samebut dosnt run the same missing 200 rpm. JIM

you pull up a 10 year old thread and bad mouth them on 2 different threads. Do some researach using the search option. They are 100% the same engine. 200 rpm could be something as little as timing set wrong on one engine.

Bringing this out from the basement. Someone needs to find the first ever viral thread from OSO.

Don't know how it got here, I made a new post . It could be something else played with the timing didn't help. I thought that too. Engine not pulling. That's why I am asking.
