Question Twin Outboard hyd steering?

I see alot of talk on hyd. steering but none seems to be geared for us eggbeaters. I am very interested in upgrading but am on a tight budget. I am 100% ignorant when it comes to this so I am attaching a bunch of pics to see if I can get some help. I see alot of people getting totaly set up for under 1k. that would make me very happy.. thanks for your help

you can see I don't have a direct shot from the piviot tube to the wing plate cause of the covers that are on it

My V8 Johnsons have an adapter that goes in the strg tube. It comes out to the side and you attach the ram to it. The ram then goes to the wingplate, with a clevis on each end. It looks like you have the plates so you will need a helm, lines, the adapters, and 2 rams. Maxx can hook you up with all the stuff except for the adapters-I think Mayfair has those. Of course with outboards you cant have power assist but I have run 2 V6's with no problems.

You would be very lucky to do this upgrade for under a grand. The Aeroquip hose alone is $7.00 per ft (helm and back plus between rams), rams will range from $600 (IMCO) to $1100 (M/M) for each side, helm is $800, plus the misc. fittings (chrome 90's, brass T's, etc...) I just purchased Marine Machine for a triple outboard setup and I did my research before I did. You get what you pay for!!!
