Default T-Stat ?

Is there any difference between an automotive t-stat and the ones sold as marine stats.

I know all of my marine t-stats have been 140* and the coolest ones I've ever seen for automotive were about 160*

Rumor has it Arizona Speed and Marine has 120 stats.

Whipple has the 120 stats as well.

the mercs are stainless 143 temp. i run them in my chevelle also.
