Update:

Dealer did another compression test and leak down test today. Values were leaking some so a valve job was ordered. Should be completed in a day or so then put back together and shipped to MI finally. Sure glad an escrow was put on hold to cover unknowns during spring startup.

I would always recommend holding money in escrow if you purchase a boat before a final sea trial. This would have been done, except I looked at boat in March when there was still 3 feet of snow on the ground.
