Dustin, what oil do you require for the blower gears and about how much is used. I am changing the oil for the first time in the blower and dont know. I was told only once a season to change is this right?

I use Mobil #1 15-50 Synthetic (that is waht whipple calls for) and change it every 50 hours.

Well your close... it's actually 5/50 wt synthetic oil and after 100 hours of use... but you can never change oil too often

OK any Idea how much? 1Qt each? I am going to Autozone today and need to buy.

Ray 15w50 is fine and i think 3 quarts will do it
