Default Oil cooler help

I have Merc 420"s with Trs and b/w trans. The oil cooler lines are plumb to the cooler up top behind the engine and the trans is plumb to the larger cooler down along the side of the engine block. This is backwards from the Merc drawings , is this ok this way or should I replumb them ? I don't seem to have any heat problems, but I don't want any...Engine oil temp stays under 210, however I haven't run to far under hard load yet this year.
