I am at present running some Borla mufflers, external to the transom. I have the older style Drew Marine Shotguns, but intend to upgrade in the future. The Borla's are the round 6"x16"x4". They do a good job of taking the harshness out, but are far from quiet. The Drew's extend the pipe so it sits in the water some and helps with the quieting at an idle where we have to meet 90dba.
