Default Exhaust manifold to riser seal

I just got a used set of gill manifolds . one set is mising the two riser gaskets between the manifold , diffuser & riser.

Do I need to get the gaskets or can I use a high temp sealer???

Use the gaskets!! Don't take a chance on the silicone. Trust me. It is worth it.

I hope mine that I just put on without any sealer don't leak....they are the graphite in color looking ones if that makes any difference, the original ones didn't appear to have been sealed either.....I will have to keep an eye on them, Fred
