Dist Cap for a Merc HP425
 

I got a new Dist. Cap and Rotor for my boat yesterday with the part # 805759Q3. I just looked on Bam's website and they list the part # that I need as 805759A2. What is the difference and will the one that I was given work?

I took the liberty of checking this out for you. The number you have.. 805759A2 is for just a distributer cap. The other number ... 805759Q3 is for a distributer cap and rotor kit. Don't worry, both numbers are good numbers. Like I said The Q3 is a kit with both and the other number is just a cap.

Thanks John. I put it on last night and it fired right up so i figured that it was right. It's always good to ask just for piece of mind.:) :) Now if we could just get it to stop raining!!!
