I got a new Dist. Cap and Rotor for my boat yesterday with the part # 805759Q3. I just looked on Bam's website and they list the part # that I need as 805759A2. What is the difference and will the one that I was given work?

I took the liberty of checking this out for you. The number you have.. 805759A2 is for just a distributer cap. The other number ... 805759Q3 is for a distributer cap and rotor kit. Don't worry, both numbers are good numbers. Like I said The Q3 is a kit with both and the other number is just a cap.

Thanks John. I put it on last night and it fired right up so i figured that it was right. It's always good to ask just for piece of mind. Now if we could just get it to stop raining!!!

You wouldn't want to live on the east side of Wisconsin. Our summer doesn't start till the 4th of July and ends on Labor Day!!!!!We haven't had a day past 72 deg yet. But thats OK by me because I don't have my boat ready to run yet...............gofastpilot
