I have the Imco SC drive, I am understanding that a spacer for a stock Bravo will not quite match my SC. What will be the difference? I think the tail end of it will be the problem. I haven't seen the spacer and drive together since my boat is in storage several miles away.
If it doesn't fit is anybody interested in buying it?

Mike, I have a 2in spacer on my imco sc and it works fine, looks a little funny but gets the job done. I have been using it for over a year and no problems, I just check the bolts before I go out, never loosened up yet.

What does a spacer do?

too shallow with your drive height. What you should do to obtain that perfect height try putting on a shortie 2" and then start going deeper so that you get the best top speed or somewhere in between.
HotRoddin is all about give and take.
The top speed is usually not the best take off and the best take off will not give U your best top end.

I know when I put on this 1/2 spacer I stand a good chance of losing some top end.
What I am hoping for is a better balance between slow cruising speed and top end.
The 1/2" spacer may even help my top end.

My 2" shortie gained me 3.5 to 4 mph. I was lucky enough to be able to water test with my stock foot and then remove it and put on a 2" shortie that same afternoon. Good accurate testing at is best. GPS to GPS.
